Nurture Dharavi Dreams

I started my ngo in 2003 with the mission of spreading smile on children faces. We work in the hospital setup as well as Dharavi Slum to spread smiles. Just for your information Dharavi slum is the Asia’s biggest slum bases in the Mumbai, India.

We started our intervention with Dharavi slum in 2012, with the hope of spreading awareness on Health and Education.

For last five years we have been providing these kids with free education and have been providing them platform to showcase their talent, making their voices been heard. And above all making sure that our kids despite coming from an under privileged community are safe and well taken care of.

We have been providing free tuition, a library and a child friendly space in Dharavi since 2012.

In year 2012 we had 13 kids, in year 2013 that grew to 18 kids, which grew to 26 kids in year 2014, by year 2015 we were 32 kids, by year 2016 we had 38 kids with us and now in year 2017 we have about 46 kids on roll by 2018 now we have 61 kids on our list. These kids are extremely talented, they just need a little push, hope, a helping hand and lots of love. Most of our kids' parents are daily wage earners and our kids go through a lot of issues and breakdowns in their lives. Due to lack of proper care and support, these kids actually miss a huge chunk of their childhood. This is where we come into the scene and try our best to create a safe space for our kids to grow, to learn, to just be kids.

You will be helping us open various doors of opportunities for our kids, while they follow their dreams and aspirations. We strive to provide them all with equal opportunities to compete with today's fast paced world.
